SEO & Analytics

Understanding your site analytics

Read the analytics included on Growth and Business Pro — visitor counts, traffic sources, and engagement metrics — and learn what each one tells you.

Analytics tell you whether your site is reaching people and what they do when they arrive. A3 iFrame includes per-site analytics on the higher plans, and this article explains what you'll see and how to read it.

Where analytics are available

Analytics are included on the Growth and Business Pro plans. They report per site, so each of your sites has its own figures. If you're on Free or Starter, analytics unlock when you move to Growth or above — see plans and what's included.

What you can see

The analytics cover three core areas:

  • Visitor counts — how many people are visiting your site over a given period. This is your headline measure of reach.
  • Traffic sources — where your visitors come from, such as search engines, direct visits, or links elsewhere. This shows which channels are working.
  • Engagement metrics — how people interact with your site once they arrive, which hints at how compelling and clear your content is.

How to read them

Numbers are most useful as trends, not single snapshots. A few ways to interpret what you see:

  1. Look at the direction over time. A steady rise in visitors usually means your content and SEO are doing their job.
  2. Check your traffic sources. Growing search traffic suggests your SEO setup is paying off; lots of direct traffic suggests people are sharing your domain.
  3. Watch engagement. If visitors arrive but don't engage, your landing content or page titles may need to better match what people expected.

Turning insight into action

Analytics are most valuable when they change what you do:

  • If a page gets traffic but little engagement, refine its copy in the content editor — AI writing assistance can help.
  • If search traffic is low, revisit your per-page titles and descriptions in the SEO toolkit.
  • If one source dominates, consider where else you could share your site to diversify.

Analytics and your other plan features

Analytics work best alongside the rest of the Growth and Business Pro toolkit. The SEO toolkit helps the right people find your site, a custom domain makes it easier to share and remember, and the content editor lets you act on what the numbers tell you. Looked at together, they form a simple loop: publish, measure, refine, and publish again.

A note on accuracy

Give analytics a little time to gather meaningful data — a brand-new site won't have much history yet. Very low early numbers usually just mean the site hasn't been found or shared widely yet, not that anything is wrong. As traffic builds, the trends become more reliable and easier to act on.
