Your A3 iFrame account holds your sites, your content, and your billing, so it is worth taking a few minutes to keep it secure. You sign in with an email address and password, and a handful of good habits go a long way toward protecting your work.
Use a strong, unique password
The single most important thing you can do is use a strong password that you do not reuse anywhere else. A few guidelines:
- Make it long — a passphrase of several words is both strong and easier to remember.
- Mix in numbers and symbols rather than relying on a single common word.
- Never reuse a password from another site. If that other site is breached, your account should not be at risk.
- Consider a password manager to generate and store a unique password for you.
If you ever suspect someone else knows your password, change it right away from your profile settings.
Verify your email
New accounts verify their email address before they can fully use the platform. Verification confirms that the address belongs to you, helps us reach you about your account, and is required for actions like signing in and handing off between connected apps. If you have not verified yet, check your inbox for the verification message and follow the link. For help with verification emails, see Email verification and login issues.
Sign out on shared or public devices
If you sign in on a computer that other people use — a library, a shared office machine, or a friend's laptop — always sign out when you are done. Closing the browser tab is not always enough, so use the sign-out option to end your session properly. On your own trusted devices this matters less, but it is still a good habit if the device is ever lost or stolen.
Protect shared access
If you invite teammates, remember that they share access to your sites and settings. Only invite people you trust, and remove anyone who no longer needs access. Keeping your member list current is part of keeping the account secure — see Managing team members and roles for how to add and remove people.
General good practices
- Keep your sign-in email account secure too, since password resets go there.
- Be cautious of messages asking for your password — we will never ask for it in an email.
- Review your team members and sites from time to time so nothing looks out of place.
