Using AI writing assistance

Draft or improve your site's copy with built-in AI writing assistance, learn how to prompt it well, and always review before you publish.

Writing website copy can be the slowest part of getting a site live. A3 iFrame includes AI writing assistance right in the content editor, so you can draft a section from scratch or polish wording you already have — without leaving the page you're editing.

Where to find it

Open the content editor for your site from your dashboard and look for the AI writing option on the text fields you can edit. Use it on headings, intros, about sections, service descriptions, and similar copy.

What it can do

  • Draft new copy. Start an empty section by describing what it's about, and let the AI propose a first draft.
  • Improve existing text. Ask it to make a paragraph clearer, shorter, more formal, or more friendly.
  • Rework tone. Shift the same message toward a tone that fits your brand.

AI writing assistance uses AI usage, so it draws on your account's AI allowance like other AI features.

How to prompt it well

The quality of the result depends a lot on what you ask for. A few habits help:

  1. Be specific about the subject. Mention who you are and what the section should say — for example "a friendly two-sentence intro for a freelance photographer specializing in weddings".
  2. Name the tone. Words like professional, warm, confident, or playful steer the result.
  3. Set a length. Ask for a short headline, a single sentence, or a short paragraph so you don't get more than you need.
  4. Iterate. If the first draft isn't right, refine your request and try again rather than rewriting it all by hand.

Always review before publishing

AI drafts are a starting point, not a final answer. Before you save and publish, read every suggestion carefully and check that it:

  • Is accurate — the AI doesn't know your real prices, dates, or claims, so correct any invented details.
  • Matches your voice and brand.
  • Reads cleanly and contains no awkward or repeated phrasing.

Once you're happy, save your changes and re-publish the site to take them live. See Editing your website content for the save-and-publish flow.

Good practices

Treat the AI as a fast first draft and you as the editor. Keep important facts — your name, offerings, and contact details — under your own control, and use the assistant mainly to phrase things well. The same approach applies to AI-generated images, covered in Adding and replacing images.
